Online Works to Try

There are some  works online that you can try. Instead of wasting a considerable amount of your time on social media, find the right websites to perform tasks and make money. There are so many opportunities to tap into in this era of technology.

Few months ago, I started researching on passive income ideas to make some extra income. I found several ways that one can make money. Some of the passive income ideas we all knew already includes Blogging and YouTube.

Blogging and YouTube were the only major passive income ideas that I knew of until this research. I now know about 20 plus passive income ideas that one can help you.

I learnt about the following online part time jobs just two months ago and I cannot keep this valuable information to myself, as such, I have penned down the top ten online jobs that you can try your hands on to make extra income.

Monies made on some of the platforms listed below can only be retrieved through PayPal and since PayPal is currently unavailable in Ghana, I have detailed a Step by Step way to creating an account in Ghana, as a ‘Thank You’ present for purchasing my book.

The top ten online work to try are as follows:

  1. BLOGGING

Blogging is the most popular online job that I know. I started blogging eight years ago. Blogging has proven to be one of the most huge online works. With blogging, you can target any niche you want and that can be Entertainment, Lifestyle, Fashion, Business, Food and Sports. To begin with the process of blogging, one has to first buy a domain name from GoDaddy and a hosting plan from any of these hosting platforms such as Hostgator, BlueHost, Namecheap, DreamHost etc. Afterwards, you can build your own website or blog step by step or you could hire a professional to build it for you. Most bloggers around the world make thousands of dollars monthly from blogging.

  • YOUTUBE

YouTube has created millionaires and billionaires around the world. I think everyone should have a YouTube account just as they have Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Snapchat, TikTok, accounts. Good thing is, with YouTube, you get to make money as you post updates of your interest, and thus after you have reached the monetisation threshold ‘1,000 Subscribers and 4,000 watch Hours’. Create a G-mail account and use the account to sign up for YouTube.

  • PODCASTING

Netizens around the Globe usually prefer Blogging to Podcasting hence there are just thousands of podcasters around the world as compared to millions of people who engage in blogging and YouTube. However, the number of podcasters spiralled upwardly in 2020. Rich and popular YouTube creators like Logan Paul, David Dobrik, and others ventured into podcasting a while ago. I also started my podcast ‘The Afia English Show’ in 2020. There are direct and paid podcast platforms to start your podcast. They include Anchor, BuzzSprout, Podbean, etc.

  • ANCHOR PODCAST – Anchor podcast is a podcast owned by Spotify. It is a  podcast platform. You can record, edit and post your audios with your phone. You can also monetise your podcast with minimal readership. The downside for Anchor podcast users outside the US is that, you cannot withdraw your money directly to your bank, unless, you use a Proxy through a friend or relative living in the US. I use Anchor for my podcast and I have made dollars so far.
  • BUZZSPROUT- I am on Buzzsprout platform as well. With Buzzsprout, you make money by the company itself and other companies. Another form of monetisation on this platform is through sponsorships on Podcorn website.

  •  UPWORK-If you are a writer, IT Specialist, Content Creator, Social Media Influencer,Web Designer, Graphic Designer, among others, then Upwork is a place for you to monetise your skills and talent. Previously oDesk, and now merged with Elance.
  •  MICRO JOBS

Smaller Tasks Jobs are basically performing tasks at a fee. If you do not have the patience to wait on YouTube threshold until monetisation, then smaller task jobs are for you. You get paid pay task as soon as you start. I personally work on some of the following platforms.

a) PICOWORKERS

Picoworkers is s a platform I will personally recommend. You are paid per a task performed. You get paid on Picoworkers by following Twitter and Instagram accounts, Liking Facebook Pages, Visiting Websites, Seeing videos on YouTube, Subscribing to YouTube channels etc. You can cash out when you reach $5.7 through a PayPal or Skrill account.

b) MICROWORKERS

Microworkers is similar to Picoworkers. Difference is, Microworkers has been in existence for long as compared to Picoworkers. Tasks on this platform is also similar to that of Picoworkers. I am on this platform as well but very active on Picoworkers. Withdrawal method is PayPal.

c) RAPIDWORKERS

Rapidworkers is just like Picoworkers and Microworkers.

d) TIMEBUCKS

Timebucks is a micro job platform where you can earn money daily by taking surveys, seeing YouTube videos, Visiting Websites, among others.

  • DIGISTORE24

Digistore24 is one of the most popular remote job platforms available on the internet. You can promote your worker’s products directly on your social media platforms or you can create a website specifically for selling the products.
