The Three Types of People in Your Life

I am not a person with many friends. I am a thirty year old woman and I can count the number of friends that I  have at the moment. At the moment, I know people and people know but none of these people are who I will call a friend or friends.

Life is Beautiful. We thank God for Life.

As you grow up and socialize in the community that you live in, you learn to make friends.

In school, you make friends too. Some friends grow with us while others eventually get out of our lives as we move on.

Consequently, as you move on with life from past friends and relationships, you meet new people as you moving on and start forging new relationships with new people you may meet Senior High School and Tertiary institutions, workplace, market place, social media , among others.

Some people come into our lives to stay through thick and thin, others come because of interest and others

There are three types of people in every one’s life. The types of people in our lives are Confidants, Constituents and Comrades.

I was listening to a pastor on radio one day and he enlightened me about the confidants, constituents and comrades in our lives.

CONFIDANTS– constitutes the people in your life who are very loyal. Those who love you for who you are and not what you have or how you look like. Confidants normally stay with you in good and bad times. They are always with you regardless of any situation.

CONSTITUENTS– these type of people come into your life when they see you moving to the direction that they want to go. Take note, the constituents are those who immediately force to become friends with you when you become famous. For example, there are ladies who suddenly come into your life to date you just because of your money and fame. Your Corolla S is okay for now but Just wait until she meets a guy in a Range Rover, she is gone.

COMRADES– come into your because you have a common enemy thus When you are not cool against the same person. Smaller parties forge alliance with bigger parties to unsit an incumbent government not because they love themselves, but because they both have a ‘common enemy’. CPP aligned with NPP to dethrone the NDC in 2000 elections. There is a saying “the enemy of my enemy is my friend”.  Few months after Ama split from Stacy, she befriended Adwoa, who happens to be a ‘supposedly’ enemy of Stacy.

In this life, you ought to know the real  intentions of the people that are very close to you that you call them friends. Not all your friends have the best intentions for you. Every one is moving with you because of a particular interest. Once you figure out their interest is their gain in the end, they are not your true friends. Learn the three types of people listed above and choose your friends wisely.
