Ghana is a country located in West Africa. The capital city of Ghana is Accra. Kumasi , the capital city of the Ashanti Region is the second largest city in Ghana. Ghana is referred to as ‘ the Gateway to Africa’.
Ghana is endowed with natural resources such as Gold, Diamond, Timber, Cocoa, Bauxite, among others.
Ghana is a beautiful country with kind and hospitable people. The populace even accuse their own of treating foreigners better than their own.
Ghana has a population of over 30 million people and is known for its rich cultural heritage, diverse ethnic groups, and vibrant markets. The country has a stable democracy and is often referred to as the “Gateway to Africa” due to its central location and ease of access to other African countries.
Ghana has a tropical climate, with two main seasons – the wet season (April to October) and the dry season (November to March). The country is known for its beautiful coastline, national parks, wildlife reserves, and historical landmarks.

Ghana, like every country has several travel routes that citizens use to get to their destination at a particular time. When I was in the University of Cape Coast, I traveled through the Kumasi to Cape Coast route to get on campus. I did this for all the four years of my university education in Cape Coast city.
